Kindly check the number you typed to ensure you have the right number. If not, you may have set a mobile country code which is being prefixed to the numbers you type. Go to the general settings for WP SMS (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-sms-settings&tab=general) on your site and remove the country code. This should fix the problem.
